Now, before we even get into this one, I just want to remind you guys that these are simply thoughts that go through my head, ideas I’ve heard and philosophies that have intrigued me.
I am in no way suggesting anything or implying anything. Use this as thought provoking material, or even just an easy read. But I do suggest you take the time to think, ponder, or even research your own ideas and see what you come up with. The goal here is to find your own happy place.
There are two different routes I want to explore, both are easily applicable, and from my personal experience they apply to and can be used to generate the result we are after, happiness.
Now yes I know, you are happy. I will be mostly addressing those who aren't happy those few odd times.
BUT, for the sake of time, I will only talk about one in this chapter.
First off, the perfect formula to happiness. I first heard this from Anthony Robbins.
CC = BP = Happiness
On that same note
CC ≠ BP = Unhappiness
What the heck is that? It's easy, it stands for...
If your Current Circumstances match your Blue Print of how you think it should be then you’re left with Happiness
And
If your Current Circumstances do not match your Blue Print of how you think it should be you are left with Unhappiness
Think about it for a second...
Our emotions are based on what's happening at the moment, our current circumstances, and what we think should be happening, your blue print.
If you are not happy in your relationships, it's because in your mind, you pictured something else and it is NOT what you are experiencing right now.
If you are not happy in your career, it's because you imagined it differently than how it is right now.
When you were a kid dreaming of when you were all grown up, is this it? Does it match? Often, we subconsciously hold on to what we used to picture and realize it's not even close... But what's great about this formula is it gives us incredible power because it helps us realize we CAN do something about it. You can either change your current circumstance or change your blueprint.
If changing your current circumstances is something totally not feasible, maybe it's time for a blue print adjustment. One thing I’ve taken the time to learn and apply into my life is evaluating if my beliefs of how things should be are really my own or if they’ve been passed down to me. Sometimes, things we’ve been believing to be “how things should be” are simply not the case anymore, or for you, and you’ve had them stuck in your head because you’ve never taken the time to question those beliefs.
Now I am not suggesting that it's that easy or simple, but just something to think about.
To your success,
Al
