This newsletter is designed to challenge your thinking and open you up to new views, ideas and concepts. In no way are we making any view wrong or choosing one over the other for you. Be a student, not a follower. Take it in and study it for yourself then make your own decision!
Are you the driver of your life, or a passenger?
Are you even on the right path to your dream?
Are you doing the things YOU want to do?
Are you living the life YOU dreamed of?
Are you watching life slowly go by?
Are you even going anywhere?
Are you happy?
Do you want to do more?
Do you wish for a better life?
Do you want to take it to the next level?
Do you want to take charge of your life once and for all?
Then quit doing what you’re currently doing.

This Chapter isn't for everyone. I'm writing it for/with someone specific in mind, although I feel it applies to many. This comes out of my desire to slap them and say wake up, life is passing you by while you sit around day after day.
Now, I reasoned that slapping them would be a bad idea...
I hope by now, after so many chapters and conversations we've had that you know I care. I have no alterior motives. I take no pleasure in giving you a hard time for nothing. I have no ego behind it. I want the best for you, for every one of you reading this.
I often struggle with the "to do or not to do" dilemma. The “to be direct and truthful or simply say what they want to hear” dilemma. Do I help or butt out and mind my own business.
Today, I've decided to risk it. I'll take my chances of "ticking you off" for the possibility that something clicks and your world changes for the better.
“It doesn't matter where you are coming from. All that matters is where you are going.”
-Brian Tracy
You are exactly where you are because that's where you choose to be.
Sometimes that's hard to bite.
It's an easy one to argue. I didn't choose to get fired. I didn't choose to fail school. I didn't choose to put on all this weight. I didn't...I didn’t…I didn’t… I'm not here to argue any of these or the countless others that may be going through your mind.
All I want to put forth is this: As long as you blame something else, or someone else, you lose the control and power over your life. That's my only goal for this chapter. To get you to see that YOU are in control and no one else.
Let me explain...
If whatever is holding you back is not in your control, and you constantly blame other circumstances, situations and people, you will never be able to fix or improve anything, because it's NOT you.
The moment you take charge or your life, and make the conscious decision to realize YOU and you alone own the responsibility, the power to change your life, now YOU can make a change.
If you never come to the realization that there IS something you can do, or could have done, nothing will ever change.
That's depressing.
When you were young, what did you think about? What did you dream of becoming? When you were 10 years old, is this the job you imagined having? The house you dreamed of owning? The person you imagined being?
Today, I challenge you to lift your blinders. Take a hard look at your life. Pull out a sheet of paper and write down EVERYTHING you will never settle for anymore.
If you drink too much, vow to drink less.
If you smoke, vow to change.
If your miserable, vow to be happy.
If your overweight, vow to shape up.
Don't get technical. Don't think about how. Don't stop and let your brain get in the way. Just write, keep writing, let your hand flow, let your heart flow.
“The key to success is to focus our conscious mind on things we desire not things we fear.”
-Brian Tracy
Now set some goals and start heading in the right direction.
Listen, if you set goals to be reached in 5 years, whether you set them or not, the same 5 years is going to go by. Same goes for the last 5 years, the last 10, 15, 20...
Time is going to go by, day by day. Why not pick the direction of your life? Why not live for something more? Why not live life to the max? Why not do what you want?
Why not?
There is NO excuse for not living the life you want. NONE.
I hope that this has been an eye opener. If this has stirred up some emotions, that's good. I sincerely hope you don't just think "Hmm, good chapter, good message" and don't do anything about it! I hope this stirs up enough emotions to make the change you have been craving. There's more to life.
If you are ready for change…
If you are tired of going to the bar day after day…
If you are ready to move in life…
If you are sick of the low quality of life…
If you are ready, now is the time, you've waited long enough!
Take charge of your life. Remember, the way you meet your needs (happiness, significance, certainty..) has to be sustainable. If you have to put something into your body to create happiness, you risk everything. (alcohol, drugs, food) You deserve to be happy, so give yourself permission to be happy!
To your success,
